Care Guide

Simple habits for a considered desktop.

Follow your product instructions

Instructions supplied with the actual item take priority over this general guide. A rendered image cannot identify a surface material or a safe cleaning method. If you are unsure, ask about the particular product before using a cleaner.

Caring for a mouse

  • Disconnect or power off the device before cleaning, following its instructions.
  • Use a soft dry cloth for loose dust; do not spray liquid into gaps.
  • Keep the scroll wheel, sensor area and connectors free from debris.
  • Avoid immersion, harsh solvents and attempts to open or repair the device without suitable instructions.

Caring for a pad

Remove loose dust gently. Check the actual material and cleaning instructions before wet cleaning. Do not assume that a pad can be machine-washed, soaked, ironed or tumble-dried. Let any permitted surface cleaning dry completely before placing electronics nearby.

Set up and store

Use a stable, clean desktop. Leave room for mouse movement and any actual cable. Store accessories away from moisture, direct heat and heavy objects that can distort their shape. When moving a pad, support it rather than forcing a fold.

When something seems wrong

Stop using an electronic device that becomes damaged or unusually hot. Keep it away from liquids and inspect any actual cable for damage. General guidance is not a claim of a particular safety certification or technical feature. Contact support with the product and order information for an issue relating to your purchase.
